Simplified Chinese Pokémon box and pack sizes

Simplified Chinese Pokémon doesn't follow English box sizes. The same set can come as a slim box of small packs or a jumbo box of a few big ones, and China-exclusive lines such as Gem Pack have their own formats. Before you compare prices, check how many packs – and how many cards – you are actually getting.
The figures below are for the formats we stock, taken from our own listings. Every Red Dragon TCG listing also shows its set code and pack count.

Gem Pack moved from 15-pack boxes (Vols. 1–3) to 18-pack boxes (Vols. 4–6), so check the volume before comparing prices.

Format terms explained
- Slim
- Small packs of around five cards, sold in boxes of many packs – the closest to a classic booster box.
- Jumbo
- Fewer, much bigger packs (20–25 cards). Fewer packs to open, more cards in each.
- Gift box and special box
- China-market products that pair packs with something to collect or display – figurines, badges, magnets or card frames. There are no Elite Trainer Boxes in Simplified Chinese; these fill that space.
- Trade case
- Several sealed boxes of the same product packed together, as shops receive them – for example our 10-box Terastal Gathering pin badge case.
